Tenuta Col Sereno

The Holiday home “Tenuta di Col Sereno” is situated in Versilia, that part of Tuscany where, within  few kilometres, you can find sandy beaches, steep mountains, rolling hills and lake oases which inspired the melodies of the great composer Giacomo Puccini, that here spent most of his life.

Inside the estate, The Casale, surrounded by a large garden of olive-trees ,  stands out on top of a small hill which is just about eighty metres high, in the immediate hinterland of  the town of Viareggio which is only 6 kilometres away.

As you walk through the entrance  gate of the estate, a cypress-lined private road  takes the guests to the car park, where a short path , lined with sweet-scented lavender, sage and rosemary, leads to the holiday apartments.

The tranquillity of the place is interrupted, in  different  moments of the season and of the day  by the morning singing of small birds,  by  the shrill of cicadas  in the hottest hours and by the  crickets  on summer evenings. Far away,  the bells of the churches  scattered on the hills around in the distance mark the passing of time.

The availability of large outdoor spaces, with fence property borders, make the ”Tenuta di Col Sereno” particularly suitable for families with small children, who can walk around and play without any dangers. Besides, the particular structure of the building, in which there are two flats, close to each other, but completely independent, allows two families of friends  to spend their holiday together without giving up their own privacy.

Well trained dogs are welcome, subject to an agreement  with the owners.
